CCEA has increased the average teacher salary significantly since 2013. Our bargaining team keeps us in the top 5 in the state.
CCEA negotiates higher salaries, better benefits, and safer, more dignified working conditions than what is typically offered initially. We survey our members for input, and based on your responses, our Bargaining Team suggests innovative, equitable contract language and holds out for the best possible outcome. The more members we have, the more people there are standing behind our Bargaining Team, which reinforces our position at the bargaining table ensuring higher-than-offered salaries, robust benefits, and a fair contract.
